Misu vs FASHN
A FASHN alternative for fashion brands
Try-on tool, or full studio.
FASHN covers virtual try-on, model creation, model swap, background edits and video on one credit balance. Misu covers the same ground inside a brand studio: a licensed cast, products that stay locked, and a campaign brief.

01
What each tool is built for
FASHN is built around virtual try-on. On one credit balance you can create models, run try-ons, swap models, edit backgrounds, upscale, generate images and make video, with most tools starting at one credit per output. Plans differ mainly by volume and by what rides on top: video is 720p on Basic and 1080p from Pro, and the Agency plan adds custom Face References.
Misu covers the same actions as parts of a larger workflow. Wardrobe and Flat-lay to Model put garments on a person, the Model Board and Character Lock keep one cast across a season, and a campaign brief turns all of it into a coherent set of stills and video. The difference is less any single action than what surrounds it: licensed talent, Product Lock for exact product fidelity, and brand guidelines applied to every shot.

When FASHN is the better pick
Try-on as the whole job
If the need is putting garments on models quickly and cheaply, a tool built around that, at $19 for 200 credits, is hard to beat on entry cost.
Daily bonus credits
The Pro and Agency plans add daily bonus credits on top of the monthly allowance, which helps a team that generates a little every day.
A free look first
New accounts get 10 free credits, enough to judge the output before paying anything.
04
When Misu is the better pick
A cast you can license
Cast a specific model from the Main Board, licensed AI twins of real models, or train your own character on any plan. Character Lock keeps them identical across stills and video.
Exact product fidelity
Product Lock trains a model on your product and scores validation shots on shape, colour, detail and branding, so a bag or shoe is checked rather than assumed.
Brand direction
Brand guidelines and Looks apply to every shot, so catalogue, social and hero imagery share one visual language.
Accessories and more
Shoes, bags, jewellery, beauty and interiors have their own techniques, so the studio is not limited to garments on a body.
05
Choosing between them
The honest split is tool versus studio. If you need try-on and model swap at a low monthly price, FASHN is built for exactly that. If the brand needs a recognisable licensed cast, a product that is checked against the real thing, and direction that carries from catalogue to campaign to video, Misu is the better fit.

Questions people ask
Is Misu a FASHN alternative?
Yes, for fashion brands. Both put garments on AI models. Misu adds licensed talent, Product Lock for exact product fidelity, campaign direction and video on several video models.
Does Misu do virtual try-on?
Yes. Wardrobe dresses a model in your garments with hair, makeup and pose, and the Flat-lay to Model technique puts a garment photographed flat onto a person.
Does Misu have a free tier like FASHN's 10 free credits?
There is no free generating tier. New studios earn welcome credits by setting up the studio and adding a payment method, and Starter at €29 a month is the paid entry point.
Can Misu keep the same face across a shoot?
Yes. Cast from the Model Board or train your own character, and Character Lock keeps the same face across every still and clip in a campaign.
Who owns what I make in Misu?
You do. Every plan includes full commercial rights to every generated asset, worldwide.
