Product Lock
Train an AI model on your products
Your product. Every scene.
Product Lock trains a dedicated model on your product's photos, then checks it against them. It locks only when it clears the bar, so the clasp, the stitching and the colour stay yours.

01
Why a product needs more than a reference photo
Every product in Misu can generate from a single photo. The photo rides along as a reference, so the render starts from your product and not a lookalike. For a packshot or one styled scene, that is enough.
It is less reliable across a whole campaign. A generative model reads a reference loosely. A clasp changes shape, a grain gets smoother, a strap gains a buckle it never had. Across ten frames that is a nuisance. Across a hundred, on a bag or a watch or a shoe, it is a product that no longer matches the one you sell.
Product Lock is the fix. Instead of showing the model your product each time, Misu trains a model on it. The product becomes something the model knows, and every scene you generate afterwards draws on that.
02
How to lock a product
Lock lives on each product's page in the Studio, and works on several products at once from the catalogue.
01
Add 5 to 20 photos
Several angles, a detail shot of the part that matters most, and a clean background. Photos of the real product, not renders of it. More angles teach the model more of the object.
02
Start the lock
Training takes about 15 to 30 minutes and costs about 1,667 tokens, roughly €8.34, charged once. The price is shown before you confirm.
03
Misu tests it
When training ends, Misu renders validation shots of the product and scores them against your photos on shape, colour, detail and branding.
04
It locks, or it doesn't
The score is out of 100 and the product locks at 85. Below that, the product stays unlocked and Misu tells you so. Add clearer photos and retry.
03
What the check looks at
A lock is only worth something if it can fail. These are the four things it scores.
Shape
Proportions and silhouette. A flap that keeps its curve, a sole that keeps its height.
Colour
Tones and gradients. The tan you sell, not a warmer or flatter one.
Detail
Textures, patterns, materials and fine work: grain, weave, stitching, hardware.
Branding
Logos, labels, text and brand elements, which are the first thing a generic render gets wrong.
A written reading
Each attempt comes with the breakdown and a sentence from the scorer on the main thing it saw, so a failed lock tells you what to fix.
A person can decide
If no automatic verdict is available, the product is marked as needing your review. Compare the test shots with your photos and decide.

Where a lock earns its price
It pays on the products that carry the range: the bag that anchors a launch, the watch with a dial customers will zoom into, the sneaker whose panel lines are the whole design. These are the products where a customer notices a wrong detail, and where a returned order costs more than the tokens.
It also pays on volume. Once a product is locked, the scenes you generate with it draw on the same trained model. You spend the tokens once and place the product in a kitchen, on a plinth, on a model's shoulder, at dusk, without re-explaining it.
It does not replace judgment. The score is a check against your photos, not a guarantee about every frame. Look at what comes out, and keep the ones that hold.
06
Product Lock and Character Lock
Misu has two locks. They hold different things.
Product Lock holds the object
The bag, the shoe, the bottle. Trained on photos of the product and scored against them.
Character Lock holds the face
A model or persona who stays the same person across a set. A campaign usually wants both: a fixed face wearing or carrying a fixed product.
A lock is optional
A product without a lock still generates from its photo. Locking is an upgrade you choose for the products that need it.

Questions people ask
What is Product Lock?
An optional upgrade for a product in Misu. You add 5 to 20 photos, Misu trains a dedicated model on them, renders validation shots and scores them against your photos. The product locks only when the score clears the bar, and then its own model is used in every scene you generate.
How do I train an AI model on my products?
Open a product in the Studio, add 5 to 20 photos with several angles, a detail shot and a clean background, and start the lock. You can also select several products in the catalogue and lock them together.
How long does it take?
About 15 to 30 minutes for training, followed by a short validation step. You can keep generating from the product's photos in the meantime, because generating is never blocked by a lock.
How much does it cost?
About 1,667 tokens per product today, roughly €8.34, charged once, with the price shown before you confirm. If a training run fails to start, those tokens are refunded.
What if the product doesn't lock?
It stays unlocked and keeps generating from its photos. The product locks at a score of 85 out of 100, and a failed attempt says what it saw. Add clearer photos, with more angles or a sharper detail shot, and retry.
How many photos do I need?
One clear photo is enough to generate. To lock, add 5 to 20: several angles, a detail shot and a clean background.
Which plans include Product Lock?
Every plan, from Starter at €29 a month. Training is paid once in tokens, and the quote is shown before it starts.
Does a locked product look identical in every frame?
Much closer than a reference photo alone, but no generative model is exact. The score checks the model against your photos before it locks. It is not a promise about each frame, so review the results.
Can I lock products imported from Shopify?
Yes. Import copies each product's Shopify images into your Misu workspace, ready to generate from or to lock.
Who owns the images?
You do. Every plan includes full commercial rights to every generated asset, worldwide.
