Best for

Reach for something else when
- Editing an existing image. Flux Kontext Max or Nano Banana Pro is built for edits.
- Reference-driven work on 5.0 Pro, which takes no reference images. Use 4.5, 5.0 Lite or GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst.
- Custom-trained products. Product Lock runs on its own trained model.
In Misu
- Seedream 5.0 Pro is featured in the Generate picker. Seedream 5.0 Lite and 4.5 are under All models.
- On Auto, Seedream 4.5 is the Character Lock pick when a cast model's identity travels alongside your own reference images.
- Seedream 4.5 and 5.0 Lite take up to four references, and can return up to six images a run.
- Seedream 5.0 Lite's edit endpoint is the automatic fallback for wardrobe try-on when another model's filter flags a material.
- When the Director writes the prompt, it puts character and continuity anchors first, the order this family holds best.

Three models, two jobs
Seedream 5.0 Pro
The flagship text-to-image model. Deep prompt understanding, native text in 14 languages, precise dense layouts, output up to about 2K. No references, no seed.
Seedream 5.0 Lite
Newer and cheaper character consistency. A good default for on-model campaign work with references.
Seedream 4.5
The strongest character consistency across multi-shot campaigns, with a seed. Lock it once per campaign.

Prompting it for fashion and product
Put the character first. Seedream holds identity best when the prompt opens with who is in the frame, then what she wears, then where she is.
Lock the model for the whole campaign. Switching models mid-set is the most common reason a face drifts. Pick 4.5 or 5.0 Lite and stay on it.
Change one thing per shot. Same character, same light, a new pose. Or same pose, a new location. Consistency survives small steps.
On 5.0 Pro, quote the text exactly. Put the words you want on the poster or packaging in quotation marks and say where they sit.

Is Seedream available in Misu?
Yes. Seedream 5.0 Pro, 5.0 Lite and 4.5 are all in the Generate picker and on Canvas. Image generation is included on every paid plan.
Which Seedream is best for character consistency?
Seedream 4.5 for the strongest hold and a fixed seed. Seedream 5.0 Lite for similar work at lower cost. 5.0 Pro takes no references, so it is not a character model.
Can Seedream render text?
Seedream 5.0 Pro renders native text in 14 languages and handles dense layouts. 4.5 and 5.0 Lite are not the pick for text.
What does it cost in tokens?
At current rates about 75 tokens an image on 5.0 Pro, 34 on 4.5 and 17 on 5.0 Lite. The Studio shows the exact cost before you run.
Can I use the images commercially?
Yes. Content generated on a paid plan is yours, under a full commercial licence.
