Misu vs Botika
A Botika alternative for fashion brands
Catalogue, or campaign.
Botika turns flat-lay, hanger and mannequin photos into on-model catalogue images, with retouching by people included. Misu is built for the wider shoot: a licensed cast, campaign direction, and stills and video that match.

01
What each tool is built for
Botika is made for apparel. You upload a garment photographed flat, on a hanger or on a mannequin, and it returns on-model photos, with bulk upload and publish for catalogues. It also makes short fashion videos with motion styles such as a zoom, a casual pose or a runway walk. Paid plans include rounds of human retouching, and its Enterprise plan offers exclusive models built for a brand.
Misu covers the on-model catalogue shot too, through Wardrobe and the Flat-Lay to Model technique, but it is organised around the shoot. A brand casts a model from the Model Board or trains its own character, locks the face with Character Lock, and briefs a campaign once: a PDP set, a lookbook, a social drop or a hero. The same cast and products then carry into video on several video models.

03
When Botika is the better pick
High-volume apparel catalogues
If every new SKU needs an on-model photo and nothing more, a tool that does only that, in bulk, is simpler.
Retouching included
Human retouch rounds on its paid plans are a real advantage when you don't have a retoucher of your own.
Credits that roll over
Unused credits carry forward while you're subscribed, which suits seasonal brands with uneven volume.
04
When Misu is the better pick
A licensed face you choose
Cast a specific model from the Main Board, licensed AI twins of real models, or train your own character on any plan. Character Lock keeps them identical across the season.
More than apparel
Bags, beauty, jewellery and interiors have their own techniques, from shade ranges to furniture in a room, so one studio covers the whole brand.
Campaign direction
Brand guidelines and Looks apply to every shot, so a lookbook and a social drop share one visual language.
Video that matches
The same model and garments carry into video on several models, from product motion to a longer single-take fashion film.
05
Choosing between them
The honest split is catalogue versus campaign. If the need is a clean on-model photo for every garment, with a person checking each one, Botika is built for exactly that. If the brand needs its own recognisable cast across catalogue, campaign and video, plus direction that keeps it all on-brand, Misu is the better fit.

Questions people ask
Does Misu do on-model photos from flat-lays like Botika?
Yes. The Flat-Lay to Model technique puts a garment photographed flat onto a person, and Wardrobe dresses a model in your garments with hair, makeup and pose.
Can I use the same model across every shoot?
Yes. Cast from the Model Board or train your own character, and Character Lock keeps the same face across every still and clip in a campaign.
Does Misu include retouching?
The self-serve Studio doesn't include manual retouching. Managed productions, run by a creative director on the same platform, start at €1,200 a shoot.
Is Misu only for fashion?
No. It's built for fashion and product brands, with techniques for beauty, accessories, interiors and e-commerce packshots as well as apparel.
Who owns what I make in Misu?
You do. Every plan includes full commercial rights to every generated asset, worldwide.
